Surrey Square Park Playground

Southwark Council have secured funding to invest in new playground equipment and landscape improvements to transform Surrey Square Park Play Area. We want it to be a vibrant, inclusive and modern play environment for children, young adults and families.

We're inviting local residents to share their ideas and help shape a new vision for this valued community space.

How Your Feedback Shaped the Surrey Square Park Playground Refurbishment

Thank you to everyone who took part in the consultation for the Surrey Square Park Playground Refurbishment project. We gathered feedback from residents, park users, local schools, and community groups on the proposed designs for the new playground.

The feedback received helped shape the final design, with a strong focus on creating an inclusive, accessible, and engaging play space for children of all ages and abilities. Key themes included improving play opportunities, enhancing accessibility and providing equipment that encourages social and imaginative play.
