Training Southwark Nature Champions

Do you want to understand better the nature in your local neighbourhood?

Help us protect nature in Southwark by identifying and recording what animals, plants and fungi are found in your local green space, whether a park, garden, allotment or cemetery.

We have secured funding through the People Powered Innovation Fund to deliver free training to empower residents to better understand, identify and monitor biodiversity in Southwark.

Tell us what kind and level of free training you are interested in.

Are you a beginner who wants to understand more about the nature around you? Or are you already involved with nature recovery and want to learn how to identify wildlife and set-up biodiversity recording and monitoring schemes? We want to hear from everyone!

The Ecology service at Southwark Council look forward to hearing from you by the closing date of 28 April 2025
