Shorncliffe Road was part of our trial East Faraday Streetspace Scheme. These improvements aimed to create safer, greener, and more welcoming streets for everyone in the community. A temporary road layout has been in place for several years, including temporary pavement widening.
Following our October 2023 consultation with residents, and workshops with students from Ark Walworth Academy, we’ve used your feedback to shape a proposed design.
We’re now launching a new consultation to hear your thoughts on these updated plans.
Proposed Detailed Design
Once the consultation period ends, we’ll carefully review all feedback and use it to shape the final design, ensuring it reflects the needs and priorities of local residents.
The works are currently planned for Summer 2026. If you're directly affected by the works, you’ll receive a letter with exact dates and further details closer to the time.
