Shaping the Future of Youth Services Funding in Southwark

The Positive Futures for Young People Fund (PFYPF) Grant is set to be distributed later this year, and we need your valuable input to ensure these funds are used effectively. Established in 2021, the PFYPF supports services for young people in Southwark. With current grants expiring in March 2027, we must soon start a new commissioning process. This event aims to gather feedback from the youth sector to help us determine our priorities for the coming year.

During the event, we will focus on three main areas:

  • The goals outlined in Southwark 2030
  • The new Youth Strategy, Youth Matters
  • Insights from Community Southwark’s State of Sector Report.

Our discussion will centre on how to best allocate these funds to strengthen the sector and ensure positive outcomes for young people. We invite all organisations providing youth services in Southwark, regardless of size, to participate. Contributions from other funders of youth services, whether statutory or independent, are also welcome.

These sessions will be held across the Borough to ensure discussions stay local and align with our Neighbourhood model. We encourage everyone to sign up and join the conversation.

Additionally, voluntary sector organisations participating can receive £50 to compensate for their time, limited to 20 organisations per session on a first come, first served basis. Payment will be processed through our supplier system, and an invoice will be required after the event.
