Proposed removal of street tree (outside 11/13 Muschamp Road SE15)

Location: Outside 11/13 Muschamp Road, SE15 4EG

Reason for removal: Insurance mitigation.

Following the submission of an extensive portfolio of evidence, including the items listed below, a decision has been taken to remove this tree:

• A report from a structural engineer explaining where the damage is, how bad it is, and what it looks like.
• A report from a tree specialist showing where nearby trees and large plants are and how close they are to the property.
• Soil tests showing that the ground has become very dry.
• Evidence showing that roots from the Council’s tree have grown under the building’s foundations.
• Monitoring results showing how much the building is moving and confirming that it is moving in a repeated pattern because of nearby vegetation.
