Call for sites

We're keen for people to give us their suggestions on local areas of ground you think are good to develop.

These could be vacant or under-used sites thst could be used for new housing. We will assess your suggestions to see if they are suitable for site allocation for future land use or development in our Local Plan.

The entire site must be within our local planning authority boundary. You do not need to own the site to suggest it, but it is best to speak to the owner first. Tell us in your submission if any information is sensitive or confidential. This is so we know not to make it public. We cannot accept anonymous submissions as we may need to contact you in the future about the submission. Submitting a site does not guarantee its allocation in our Local Plan, or that we will support development at the site in the future.

Our call for ideas supports the Greater London Authority (GLA's) own call for sites, opened in late 2024. Our own call for sites asks for more information, and we also collect and review data in a different way. We will make sure that any sites submitted on the GLA call for sites form are also included in our assessment. We will also share submissions to our portal with the GLA. You do not need to submit your site twice.
