The London Borough of Southwark is committed to upgrading the existing heating networks to bring comfort and stability to their residents.
The refurbishment of the North Peckham boiler house aims to provide a reliable and efficient heating and hot water service.
Additionally, the long-term goal is to connect this unit to the SELCHP system operated by VEOLIA.
This will be an exciting next step for Southwark's goal to be a greener more carbon neutral borough.

Our Plan:
The heating equipment at the North Peckham boiler house has been in use for over 30 years. They have now come to the end of their operational lifespan and in need of replacing.
We understand that our residents have experienced regular outages and an inconsistent service. Temporary boilers have been set up to keep our residents connected to heating and hot water. With services restored, we are able to work on a permanent fix.
Our plan is to replace the old boilers and heating equipment to enable us to provide a reliable service. The North Peckham site will undergo a refurbishment to ensure the site is safe for our engineers. The size of this project means that there will be disruptions in the area, although we aim to keep these down.
Our residents are at the centre of everything we do and their wellbeing is our top priority. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience whilst we complete these works. We look forward to providing our residents with more updates as the works continue.
