Southwark Park Road (Monnow Road) Zebra Crossing

Tell us what you think about proposals to install a zebra crossing on Southwark Park Road, by the junction with Monnow Road.

Through Streets for People we will transform our streets, enabling safer, cleaner, healthier and more sustainable journeys, creating space for communities to connect and socialise and support a thriving local economy.

On Southwark Park Road, we are planning to install a zebra crossing at the location of an existing, raised, informal crossing. This will improve accessibility for pedestrians and encourage reduced speed and greater consideration from drivers.

We are also planning to refresh/replace the existing tactile paving here and on Monnow Road itself, to ensure a safe and accessible surface for walking and wheeling.
