Merrow Street - Streets for People Scheme
Merrow Street is part of the Walworth Streetspace Project - now, we are looking at the section of the road that is filtered with planters, and seeking your views on a proposed permanent design.
Our proposals include:
- Widening pavements to shorten crossing distances
- Crossing points on all four arms of the junction
- Changing priority from Merrow Street to Lytham Street, to slow vehicles down and draw drivers' attention to the restriction on Merrow Street
- Extra cycle parking
