Iliffe Street - Streets for People Scheme
Iliffe Street is part of the Walworth Streetspace Project - now, we are looking at the section of the road that is filtered with planters, and seeking your views on a proposed permanent design.
Our proposals include:
- Removing the planters and installing level paving for a flat walking surface.
- New tree planting for shade and to enhance the local environment
- Seating to help people relax and share the space – or for parents waiting for their children
- Additional cycle parking
- Proposed pavement play features for children to enjoy on their way to or from school.
