Iliffe Street - Streets for People Scheme

Iliffe Street is part of the Walworth Streetspace Project - now, we are looking at the section of the road that is filtered with planters, and seeking your views on a proposed permanent design.

Our proposals include:

  • Removing the planters and installing level paving for a flat walking surface.
  • New tree planting for shade and to enhance the local environment
  • Seating to help people relax and share the space – or for parents waiting for their children
  • Additional cycle parking
  • Proposed pavement play features for children to enjoy on their way to or from school.

Please take a look at the proposed design for this space, and let us know your thoughts using the survey below.
