Havil Street Sustainable Drainage Scheme
Tell us what you think about proposals for a sustainable drainage scheme (SuDS) on Havil Street.
SuDS is a way to manage flood risks on our roads and pavements, and use excess water to support new green spaces and planting.
As part of our recent Streets for People engagement programme, people across the borough told us that they wanted to see more greenery on their estates and local streets - with this and similar SuDS projects we are delivering on this, whilst also managing our highways to keep them safe and accessible for all road users.
The proposed scheme involves a series of raingardens within the footway along Havil Street. There will be no loss of parking spaces as part of this scheme.
