Half Moon Lane Zebra Crossing

Tell us what you think about proposals to improve the zebra crossing outside Judith Kerr School.

Through Streets for People we will transform our streets, enabling safer, cleaner, healthier and more sustainable journeys, creating space for communities to connect and socialise and support a thriving local economy.

On Half Moon Lane, we are proposing to raise the existing zebra crossing - which should encourage slower vehicle speeds on this section.

We are also proposing to widen the pavement either side of the crossing on the southern side, to provide more space for pedestrians and to slow traffic.

Three '30 minute free' parking bays, currently outside the shops on Half Moon Lane, would be relocated to Holmdene Avenue.

We are also proposing to raise the surface at the Holmdene Avenue junction to provide a continuous footway.
