  • A raised table on the junction of Grove Lane and Champion Grove - encouraging motor vehicles to slow down here.
  • Wider pavements on this section - to encourage vehicles to slow down and make more space for pedestrians - this will involve the loss of around seven parking bays.
  • A new zebra crossing by the entrance to Stories Road, greatly improving this as a walking route.
  • Wider pavement on Stories Road, providing greater separation from the cycle path.
  • Proposed planting strip on Stories Road to help deter fly tipping.
  • Use of tactile paving - to assist Blind or partially sighted people, and to encourage cyclists to check their speed on the shared use section.

We think these changes will help create a safer and more pleasant environment for all road users - but we want to know what you think.
