Faraday Gardens Playground Improvements
Southwark Council have funding to update Faraday Gardens Playground and we want to hear from you.
The project will include, resurfacing and refurbishment of the play area, installation of at least one piece of inclusive playground equipment, and making the playground more inclusive and accessible.
We have now received a proposed design, which can be viewed below and would greatly value your feedback.
Please share your views by completing the online survey or join us on Saturday 20 July 2026, from 2:00 to 4:30pm, at Nursery Row, East St, London SE17 2DX to look at the new design and share your ideas with the project team.

Design Feedback
We have now received a design from our suppliers and would really appreciate your feedback.
Their design brief was based on public feedback during the first consultation, to establish what families want and what is important to them, see above.
Key features of the proposal include:
- Additional planting will be introduced to enhance the natural environment
- No existing trees will be removed
- The main playground will be extended slightly in it's current location
Your input will help ensure the playground is well-suited to residents and remains enjoyable for many years to come.
