East Camberwell (EC) parking review

The council has had a number of requests to review parking on roads around Wells Way, due to parking issues on a Saturday and Sunday.

These streets are already part of the East Camberwell parking zone, which means the whole zone must be reviewed, even though there is not any particular evidence of parking stress in other areas within the zone.

The current operational hours of the East Camberwell parking zone are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.30pm.

In particular, we want to hear your views about extending parking zone hours to cover weekends. Please note, the hours of the whole zone do not have to be changed to meet the specific needs of the area around Wells Way. The parking restrictions could be amended to include weekends just around Wells Way, leaving the rest of the zone with the current permit hours.

We welcome your views about the operation of the whole zone, and whether you think there should be changes to the operational hours of the zone (such as controls later into the evening); or the location and type of bays. You may wish to request other complimentary measures, such as EV charging points or cycle hangars near your home.
