Culture Together Grant Fund 2026/27 - join the panel

To ensure diversity and a balance of sector expertise and community involvement in our decision-making, we invite you to apply to be a panel member for the Culture Together Grant fund 2026/27.

You would join at least one council officer and two members of our youth parliament on the panel, along with at least one other representative from the arts and culture sector who lives and works in the borough.

We will select candidates at random via expressions of interest. Anyone who isn’t selected this year will be given the option of being added to our pool of decision-makers and invited to join panels for our other initiatives and funds in the future.

You would need to be available at the following times:

Tuesday October 7th - deadline for submission of payment details (so we can register you on our finance system), conflict-of-interest and confidentiality forms.

Wednesday 12th November, 10am-12 noon - panel briefing and walk through the application review process.

Monday 24th November - allocation of applications for review.

Monday 15 December - deadline for review of applications.

Tuesday 16th December, 10:30am-4:30pm - in-person panel decision meeting, to discuss scoring and balancing.

TBC – deadline for final ratification of recommendations and panel member sign-off (by email).

In recognition of the time you will commit to the process, we are offering a fee of £575.
