Bermondsey controlled parking review CPZ ‘G’

Have your say on parking controls in Zone G.

We want to hear how parking is working in your area and whether any changes should be made to the Zone G Controlled Parking Zone.

Zone G has been operating since October 2003 and was last reviewed in 2019. Following requests from members of the public to reconsider the operating times, we are reviewing the current parking arrangements.

About the review

Zone G currently operates:

  • 8.30am to 11pm
  • Seven days a week

We would like to understand how well these arrangements are working for residents, businesses and visitors.

The survey will ask for your views on:

  • The days and times when parking controls operate
  • The types and availability of parking bays
  • The layout of parking restrictions
  • The effect of the parking zone on parking in your area
  • How well the current arrangements meet local needs
  • Any changes or improvements you would like us to consider

Why your views matter

Your feedback will help us understand whether the current arrangements remain appropriate and identify any improvements that may be required to better meet the needs of the local community.

Survey

28 September 2026 23:00 - 26 October 2026 23:59

In this survey we are asking about your experience of the local controlled parking scheme. In particular, we would like to know if there are changes to the timings and other features of the scheme that you would like to see.

Once the consultation has closed, officers will review all responses and determine if and what changes are required to the zone. Should changes to Zone G be proposed, the Council will make a decision on whether to proceed to another stage of consultation and will write to all addresses within the area again.

At that stage, residents and businesses will be invited to comment on the specific changes being proposed before any final decisions are made.
