The application to hold this event has been withdrawn by the applicant. This event will not be taking place in Southwark Park in 2025.
The council has received an application from an event promoter, CLOUD X Sound Ltd, who are requesting to hold a major-scale event in Southwark Park (south-side) in July 2025.
In accordance with the council's Outdoor Events Policy, Cultural Strategy, Borough Plan and Southwark 2030 Strategy, the Events team are carrying out a public consultation with stakeholders regarding the application and event proposals that have been put forward.
Help us decide whether this event should go ahead, and/or make suggestions for how the event should be managed, by giving us your views.

Major scale commercial event application - CLOUD X Festival 2025
The event promoter 'Cloud X Sound Ltd' has submitted an event application to hold a brand new, paid-ticketed, three day event in Southwark Park in early July 2025.
Cloud X Sound Ltd is an international music entertainment company, committed to being inclusive and progressive. Built around a London-based record label and set up by LGBT+ & POC founders, David Dabieh and Ben Cross, CLOUD X platforms exceptional artists and develops talent. David & Ben are both proud South Londoners, with David growing up on the Heygate Estate and now living opposite Southwark Park on Lower Road and Ben growing up in Tulse Hill & now living in Nunhead.
The event would take place on the 4-6 July and feature the following programme:
Friday 4 July - CLOUD X Live
Opening hours: 12-10:30pm
Cloud X Live will consist of musicians performing live.
Genres: Pop/HipHop/RnB/Soul & World Music
Saturday 5 July - CLOUD X Festival
Opening hours 12-10:30pm
CLOUD X Festival is a family-friendly event.
Genres: RnB, Soul and Alternative Rap
Sunday 6 July - Reggaeton Festival
Opening hours 12-10pm
Showcasing some of the biggest stars of the Latin community, this event will promote Latin culture and music.
Genres: Latin, Reggaeton, World Music

In line with the council's Outdoor Events Policy we are consulting with people to get feedback on:
- Whether to issue an events licence
- Event proposals and suggestions about how to improve proposals
We hope to circulate details of this consultation to as many people as possible, in efforts to obtain a diverse range of opinions. Please direct anyone you who you think might be interested in taking part, to this web page.
To further raise awareness, we are also:
• Sending letters to 3,572 properties around the park
• Posting public notices around the park
• Leaving a copy of the consultation documents at the parks Café for viewing when the Café is open

We will record and review all of the responses we receive and produce a 'consultation findings report'. While individual responses may be referenced in the report, anything that might personally identify a respondent will be removed or redacted. The report will be published, by the 31 March 2025, in the following ways:

- Sending electronically to all contacts on the stakeholder register for Southwark Park
- Sending electronically to all those who have taken part in the consultation and have provided an email address
