Canada Water Theatre Management Contract - join the panel

As part of our efforts to ensure a balance of sector expertise and community involvement in our procurement processes, we are looking to appoint panel members for the upcoming selection of an operator to manage Canada Water Theatre between 2026-31.

There are four roles for consideration:-

  • one person with experience in a management role in an arts and culture venue
  • one person with freelance experience of delivering arts and culture projects
  • two residents of Rotherhithe or Surrey Docks wards

Panel members will be required to be available for around 20 hours of work between 11 June and 11 July, and will be compensated for their time.

Before you express your interest, please read the role description document that applies to you.

To express an interest and complete the equalities monitoring form, click the green button at the top of this page by 12:00 (noon), Monday 9th June, summarising (in up to 250 words) which role you are applying for, how you meet the basic criteria, and why you would like to be part of the process.

Selection for the panel will be randomised, but we are committed to ensuring that our decision making panels reflect the diverse population of Southwark. We will therefore use applicants' equality information to balance our selection process.
