zebra crossing

Resident Here•5 months ago The end of Camberwell Passage is a popular spot for dashing across Camberwell New Road. A zebra crossing would make this safer.

Stop J needs improvement

Resident Here•5 months ago Stop J is the bus stop for westbound travel yet it has no shelter/seating and is on a very dirty (often rubbish strewn) section of pavement.

Lowline extension

Resident Here•7 months ago It would be nice if the lowline concept of opening up along the railway as public realm continued. This would be a preferable route for pedestrians along Camberwell and Walworth Road and could provide a quiet route for cyclists which would have many benefits (e.g. safety and speed for both bicycles and buses). It would help children walking to schools -especially John Ruskin Primary which has no School Superzone and is on a busy road.

transport

Resident Here•11 months ago Reopening stop R at the north end of walworth road. It is a long walk between different buses at elephant at the moment and coming south from the tube is also far. Better bus links to Old Kent Road. The infrequent, busy 42 has a bad interchange and going round via Elephant (also with a bad interchange) or Camberwell is frustrating.
