Wavel Place is a set of popular fully residenced purpose built flats near to the double roundabout at the end of Sydenham Hill. Many residents have bikes rather than cars. There is currently no outside bike storage on or near the flats. The nearest bike hangars are in Gipsy Hill (a 10-15 min walk) or in Hillcrest, with no hangars at all for some distance along Sydenham Hill towards the Wood House pub. A cycle hangar in the Wavel Place area would meet a clear need for widely dispersed residents near to a popular cycle route through the Dulwich Estate.
