road space is used inefficiently

The road is not efficiently used. The middle green section adds little benefit given its flanked by high speed roads. and the roads are have too much space for motor traffic. there should a bus lane in either direction and at most a single lane of traffic in each direction. there is no need for 2 spaces for cars. currently it feels like a motor way. this space could be use for widening pavements or a segregated cycle lanes.
