Secure cycle parking would really help residents around Peckham Library. There are bike rails here, but they are open and not secure, so leaving a bike for more than a few minutes often feels unsafe. There are cycle hangars on nearby residential streets such as Goldsmith Road, but residents around the high street currently do not have a similar option.

Many buildings in this area are older, with no lifts, narrow staircases, and tight hallways, which makes bringing a bike into flats very difficult. Bikes stored inside can also block exits or corridors. A secure cycle hangar or similar parking near the library would make a big difference for local residents who rely on their bikes.
