Disincentivizing Speeding on Nunhead Lane

Cars routinely speed on Nunhead Lane, especially after getting a green light at Peckham Rye and/or Consort Road. This is particularly dangerous near the junction of Old James Street, where children cross the road to go to Rye Oak Primary School and where elderly and/or vulnerable attendees of the church across the street . The council employs a lovely lollipop lady who has to bravely walk into traffic to help people cross safely. There is neither a zebra crossing, nor median for her to stay safe in, and people routinely ignore her sign and speed around her. It is very dangerous.
I would like to propose a speeding camera on Nunhead Lane and/or alternative speed abatement measures to protect residents crossing safely.
