Addressing energy affordability, security and climate change

With today’s technology, our community can spend less on energy and keep each other warm without relying on imported gas or carbon emissions. It is really efficient to combine solar panels, heat pumps (especially ground source loops), batteries and electric vehicle chargers. When put together with smart tariffs, or in partnership with an energy company for the council, energy could even be free because we would be producing and storing it not just consuming it
